Anyone can do it!Hi Year 6's
One of the tasks you will be required to do this term during our unit on Federation and the Australian Parliament is to complete a post each even week (week 2, 4, 6 and 8) that contains 4 pieces of information relating to our topic. These will be FACT or FICTION. A partner will then have the odd weeks (week 3, 5, 7 and 9) to determine which statements are fact and which are fiction and respond by replying to the post by leaving a comment for their partner. Everyone will post 4 pieces (even weeks) of information and everybody will respond 4 times (odd weeks).
Fact or Fiction (odd weeks Tuesday lesson 6)
- Your post title should be Your Name - Fact or Fiction week 2
- 4 different pieces of information required in one post by the end of each even week.
- Each piece of information will be written as a statement and one sentence will generally be enough i.e. Bob Hawke was Australia's first Prime Minister.
- Your statement must relate to our unit of work.
- A good post would be one that makes it hard for your partner to work out if the information you have given is fact or fiction.
- You must comment on your partners post by the end of each odd week.
- When you state if your partners work is fact or fiction you must acknowledge how you know this or your answer does not count. i.e I know it is a fact because it says on page 46 of the chapter Mr. Turra gave us on this topic. If you use the internet you will need to paste the web address where you got your information from.
- You need to write your comments in sentence form.
- You need to start your comment with 'Hi (partners name)' and finish with your name.
